A true fully bible-believing, born-again-Christian Church. No religion here, only worship of the one true God (as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) and the verse-by-verse teaching of His Word. Horizon is not a denomination, and certainly not a part of any organized religion. Horizon exists to bring the lost to faith in the only Son of God, Jesus - and to teach and equip the saved so that they may know and do God's will for their lives. The head of the "Church" at Horizon is Jesus Himself.
This church lives and breaths the Bible. Full Biblical teachings and doctrine. Even the office help can help council you! Wonderful home studies. Wonderful, Godly people.
The saying "Church should not be a country-club for believers, it should be a hospital for sinners" applies very well at Horizon.
And last but not least..... Horizon Fitchburg runs the Renew-FM radio network, and is the currently the second largest owner of Massachusetts radio stations by number (the University of Massachusetts is #1) - and with God's help Renew-FM will become the largest radio network of any kind in New England. Pastor George Small takes his responsibilities to both God and humanity very seriously. Rarely have I ever seen such a huge amount of patience, love, forgiveness, and complete dedication in anyone - be they a Pastor or not. George's actions tell loudly that he loves and cares for all just as Christ does, and all he does is in complete humility. Pastor George is a true man of God.
