Was great at one time
It's an older style building with old woodwork and an interesting story to the building in general.
Both contemporary and traditional exists here.
The people are kind.
Mostly, want to write a review in response to a much older one. I'm not sure why the previous 1-star review but I'm sorry that they feel that way. The "review" is factually inaccurate. There ARE programs for youth (teens and GEMS girls program) and there are several bible study/prayer groups that meet in homes in the area as well as at HBC. It is a smaller sized church with a close "family" feel. The worship is a mix of temporary and traditional features. The people there, while not perfect (after all the biggest problem with churches is they're full of people) have a heart for serving the Lord and seeing the name of Jesus magnified. Highland Baptist just want to see people come to know Jesus, like their vision statement says: "To be a community where everyone's welcome, nobody's perfect, and a new life is possible."
At the time of review, they were between pastors.
the church is just like ever other church the people in there are corrupted and act fake. the holy spirt does not move in this church everyone is dead and they don't have bible studies or any social activities for young adults and teens.
It's a Bible preaching church. Every Sunday has readings and sermons from the scriptures.
