I set up my rental several weeks in advance. I arrived at my scheduled pick up time, but the associate helping me seemed flustered. He pulled up my information on the screen and then hemmed and hawed about which car they were going to give me. He decided on an economy car, but I had reserved a compact car (one step up). When I started pulling out my confirmation paperwork he stuttered and said "oh wait you had asked for a step up." Then he said he was going to assign me the compact car, but had to change it because that car's registration expired in 2 days during my rental period of 8 days. With each car he was talking about he said "I'll just need to clean that before you can take it." Finally he picked a car and ran out to vacuum it. The interior of the windshield was filthy and the exterior was not washed. When we walked around the vehicle to do the inspection I had to rub at spots to decide if they were dirt or a scratch/dent. When I got the car home I cleaned the windshield, dash, the console, and the door handles etc. myself.
