I contacted them about repairing a leaking sink and was told they'd call me back the next day I heard back from them only to tell me the soonest was Friday. To which I said ok, and was asked about payment I told them I would call them back because I was @ work. I did not call back but they did call me the next day, and I provided them the information. My appointment was for 8am on Friday and I had to have someone there because we all work. At 10am I check in with to see about the repairs at home only to find out they never showed up and never called me. So I call them and was told we can't control what happens with emergency calls, so I ask will they be there later today and we told not sure will call you back. A couple hours later I received a call is someone there now, I again have to find someone to be there......I call them back to tell them yes and for the 2 time they don't show up........WTH!
I contacted Cleghorn P&H on Thursday morning. The woman I was speaking to took down all of the details and told me someone would call me back. No mare than 2 hrs later, someone called me back (Fran I believe) and asked more questions about the issue, and provided some possible causes for the issue. He told me he would give me a call back after figuring out when he could get someone out to me. He called me back, again no more than 2 hours later, and informed me that he could have someone to my place at 8am the next morning, which I agreed too. At 7:50 the next morning, I received a call from Tim, confirming that it was OK to come to my place to address my problem at 8am. At 7:59, Tim and Nick were at my door. I explained and showed them the problem I was having (rattling pipes). Tim and Nick worked quickly, and had the issue diagnosed within 15 minutes, explained to me what was wrong, and had the problem fixed before 9am.
Gary and Ray were very thorough, and explained their concerns with my system as they were making adjustments, and explained what they did to fix my issues. They were very knowledgeable, professional and worked well together, and they got my heat back up and running!
My tenant in my condo in Fitchburg called me to let me know the water heater had failed (leaking, no hot water). I called Cleghorn in the morning and they had the water heater replaced in the afternoon without any issues and at a minimum of labor. I was very happy with their service.
Poor customer service. Waited 2 weeks for a service call. These guys can't even pick up a phone to tell you they are delayed. Find someone else to do the work.
My experience with them can be summed up with this... great customer service, and reliable workmanship. I will definitely contact them again if I have any needs in the future, and would recommend them to my friends.
So to me I would not recommend them for anything!
