One of my favorite places. Have been returning every year since it opened. Lots to do in the water parks, daily activities, arcade, shopping. Food is great, customer service is spectacular, and the atmosphere is wonderful. As winter visitors, we love the holiday theme and my daughter is thrilled that it snows indoors in the lobby several times a day. The family loves it here!
It was a great winter trip! Overall it was great but there were some things holding me back from giving 5 stars. If I could give 4.5 stars I would. The restaurant at dinner didn't really have it together. It was kind of cold in the water park. Ill definitely go back. I wish they had day passes!
Our GWL visit was a blast, and we will definitely be back either next year or the following one.
We spent almost the entire weekend at the water park. My kids loved the pools and playgrounds, and kept running between them. My favorite section was the hot tub/jacuzzi, which lead outside -- sitting in a jacuzzi with snowing falling was a fantastic experience, and really made the winter experience for me.
My family and I had a fantastic time. I checked in using the app, which was efficient. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, and the staff has been friendly throughout (I don't think I had to open a single door over the weekend, a staff member was always in the area to open it for me!). Even though the place had many guests, including a conference of military personnel, it did not feel packed.
Love love love it. Its pricey, but worth it, so much for kids to do. Cheaper then Disney. They are only 5 miles away from a strip mall. Easy to eat out or go grocery shopping and put some good in the mini fridge. I've only gone during the slower times which was fantastic. I could easily see my kids without the crowds. I can't imagine it being as much fun when it's super busy. I found everything to be clean and the staff extremely nice and willing to do whatever it takes to make customers happy.
I visited Great Wolf Lodge on a December weekend along with my wife and two children (6yo and 4yo). We had visited during last summer and were looking forward to the Winter version of Great Wolf Lodge.
We went here about 6 times now and definitely will be back. Awesome water park, pleasant stuff, a lot of things to do with kids, worth the price 100%. The only concern would be food, their service at the restaurant takes a long time and food is 3-4 stars out of five, they have Dunking Donuts right inside the hotel, but they need to improve service there also. But that only small inconvenience comparing to all the fun time we are having here. I would recomend this place as far the best local family getaway possible. So if you are deciding whether to go or not, definitely go!
